...then gradually lean over the tank as you get to full throttle to keep the front down. None of this is really needed for the street....

As a complete noob and riding a 250, I don't think he needs to worry too much about keeping the front down on corner exit.
And agreed - your comments are completely correct, but aren't really necessary for the street just like you mentioned. If you're over riding your tires on the street there's an issue somewhere down the line - be it really old and hard tires or just riding like the proverbial "Lunatic". ;-)

Awesome! Welcome to the money pit. LOL

Ever notice how our hobby is like a toilet?
We keep going round and round in circles, whilst our money levels get lower and lower until with a nasty sucking sound it's all gone....

I was thinking of a Canada Day ride with free (awww yeesss) food after. Here is what I had in mind:
Meetup somewehere in East Kitchener, ride out to Elora Gorge via River Road S. (30 mins) then ride to Mandarin where you get FREE meal :)
Total riding time is about an hour and Mandarin will probably take another hour. Keeping it a little short due to some chance of rain. What do you guys think?

Edit:So I read a bit more about the Mandarin free meal thing and apparently (unsurprisingly) it's pretty hectic... Maybe we can find another place to eat? I'm open to suggestions... We could also try going around a "dead hour"; around 3-4pm...

Stay away from "free food" mandarin. An hour? You'll prolly be waiting 4 hours just to get in. Last year the line went around the parking lot and down the street.

+1
My buddy waited 3.5hrs in line last year.

I was just giving a suggestion :p
We can go anywhere else; it doesn't matter. I haven't been to Mandarin's on Canada day so I had no idea of the crazy lines until I started reading more

It's all good I wasn't attacking you at all man, just merely suggesting the time waiting for it can be better spent riding or what not. Prolly get sick too from improper cooking due to the huge rush

Going for a ride to Elora Gorge (30 mins away) today to check out the route. If anyone wants to join, either message me on here or text me at 519-572-8395. I plan on leaving at 6:45ish

Anyone going to Indy Aug 8-10?

Nick (Nikiter) is going and looking for somebody to go with him. He's camping at the track and taking his bike with him.

I'm looking into going. since its our last year of sponsorship I'm going to call in a favour at head office and see what I can round up. including the days off LOL

Went to Indy last year and had tons of fun. Their bike nights in downtown are great too. Also doing Race5 stage1,2,3 this weekend. Then on 19th going to Tail of the Dragon for a week. Braaaap

That would be awesome. LOL... Have you been before? I went once. It's pretty awesome to hear those bikes in person. Indy is a crap town though.
