I don't think you're following me. That's probably my fault. I don't have a problem with ambient noise. I have a problem with unnecessarily induced noise. I have worked and slept in some very noisy environments without a bother. If it's 110db in a boiler room I don my earmuffs and carry on. On the other hand if I'm working in a 90db boiler room and some jerkoff wannabe stationary eng. sets up with a ghetto blaster, almost immediately I'm upset. It's not the noise, it's the reason of the noise.

Gotcha.
In the future try to be concise. I do read for entertainment but I don't like spending 5 mins deciphering the point.

Weird. This drives me just as crazy, but I don't find that I run into it very often. I wonder if the Life brand earplugs I've been using have sold my hearing down the river

Too cheap for a data plan? I only have wifi set up on my phone for like 2 or 3 restaurants I go to a lot.

Usually free wifi is garbage, anyway.
