How many do you have now? Where are you on the adjusters?Apparently I need a 520/112 chain...but can’t understand then store told me I need a minimum of 110....isn’t that too short?
The chain is 520/112 but the guy at the store said I need a minimum of 110...which is what’s confusing me. It’s 2 links short.are the front and rear sprocket stock?

I haven’t counted it yet. Will try and count tomorrow. And check the adjusters. How many do you have now? Where are you on the adjusters?
OEM chain on CB500X is 520x112L. Take it back and get the proper one. These guys are saying 112 links, but I would check the rest of the site:

Excellent point. A couple of rides no matter how bad the chain is (assuming it passed safety), should be fine. Are people sticking with the stock gearing on the 500X or changing it up a bit to wake it up? MP may want to ride with the old chain for a bit to decide if different sprockets would be a better fit for him.
