Can't tell if there are chicken strips or not, they'll sell.
 
I dunno. Seems odd.
 
So whats the benefit to the weird tread? I think that would actually be less grippy at full lean.

So it's actually NOT for more grip, it's to stop you from exceeding the grip available.

now what would motivate a company to design a tire that does the opposite of what its supposed to do?

Thanks, i only read the first article, which mentioned that the tires werent great on the track.
