Yeah, it could grow on me.. I was always saying I wouldn't get a 1000, but this thing has so much electronics on it, it sounds like a ham-fister's delight!

Truthfully, though... Do you have the balls to try the launch control?? I would love to do it, but can't imagine myself dumping the clutch at 12,000rpms on my brand new $2x,000 bike!!!
 
Prices already listed on Yamaha Motor Canada's website. $19K for the R1 and $23K for the 1M. Jesus. :(

Ok, we all understand that you think Ducati is nothing but garbage.. but really... their electrical is pretty darn good in all of their 2007+ models as far as I know. And all of the newer generation bikes are at 24,000km service intervals..

Do some research.. and step away from GTAM until you have... really... freakin' terrible.

Except for the cluster on my buddy's Monster 1100 EVO... he washed it, and then had to get a new $3000 cluster sent from Italy because the bike was dead.

On the plus side, it now has 1500km's on it.......... who wants a low km monster??? :D
