Not sure if this is Ontario or not, no license plates showing.
Jeep driver was apparently texting when the bus stopped at a railroad crossing.

Apparently Tempe Az. Red car guy has severe back pain but is otherwise in decent shape.

"The Jeep's driver told the responding police officer that he didn’t realize the bus was going to stop at the railroad tracks and kept driving because there was a green light, Tempe Police Detective Greg Bacon said. School buses are required by law to stop at railroad crossings.

Bacon said the officer could not determine if texting was involved and the driver was not cited for distracted driving."

Don't the school bus drivers flash their top lights and use their brakes to let people know that they're stopping?

I understand and know that their are people on the road who can't judge distance, velocity or acceleration, but this is a bit of a stretch.

Well his story worked. He avoided one of the tickets that he probably deserved.

I don't know if this qualifies. It sounds like she succeeded in her driving quest but burned a house down in the process.

It was reported that a woman allegedly began driving into the garage door of the home until it broke and continue driving into the residence.

The car then caught fire and ignited the residence as well. Pickering fire crews were able to contain the blaze and put it out.

EDIT:
Video of the ramming. Bad language warning. Lots of people standing/driving into the danger zone. Stay tf away when people are driving like idiots.

Just to tie this back into riding, this happened in Twyn Rivers and Altona neighbourhood.

It's also a good lesson of how quickly a vehicle fire in a garage can grow out of control (beyond the capabilities of a homeowner to make any meaningful difference). A drywall ceiling in the garage might have saved the house. Open rafters burned quick, lit the garage roof and that jumped to the roof of the house.

Good reminder to always know your escape.
I preach that rule to my family all the time.
not just in a situation like a burning house or building but also when you are out

Possibly a repeat. Crash from 2018. VW going fast in the rain. Corolla being driven by a typical Corolla driver turns left in front. Kablammo.

A buddy lives about half a KM away. Said he was out on his deck having a smoke and heard it.

Makes me miss the Humber hump. :(

Not necessary a bad driver though. Just a bit faster than the rest.
I disagree. If you are on a G1 at night on a major highway at more than double the speed limit you obviously aren't thinking ahead. You are living in the moment and screw the future. That is not a good attitude for those that are driving around you. Back to the old "he doesn't even know what he doesnt know yet". Way overdriving his headlights, unable to identify a cop prior to getting pinched, etc. Bad driving.

I haven't said he is a smart driver ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And he could have 37 years of driving experience in another country before getting G1 here.

Can a Mazda 3 even do 211 kph?

Had a pickup truck back down a highway onramp at me yesterday, and a car parked on the wrong side of the road started to pull out as I was approaching today. What is with everyone wanting to play chicken all of a sudden? I don't drive that often, are people getting stupider?
