I know , I was at his wake. He was working on 3 of my suits at the time. His daughter jennifer is continuing the business and finished my projects at im's new location at 385 king st. West hamilon where she builds and modifies all leather gear, even for some of the companies that are n gta. First rate materials and workmanship.Ivan died earlier this year.

He made me 3 suits over the past 15 years or so and did countless other alterations and repairs on my stuff. I have Jennifer building zip in leather neck warmers on my cool weather leathers now and I will be having her build another new set of very cold weather leathers that will have zip in quilted insulation in them that will be awesome for winter riding!Ah cool. Didn't know that.
Ivan custom made some leathers for my wife like 7 or 8 years ago. Great quality and workmanship.
I'm going to buy a pair of pants for better protection since I'm new to riding. Any opinions on textile/leather or even overpants? Any specific recommendations? Anyone been down on their pants before?

Jennifer will have an IM leather booth at the January show in toronto, if you buy something off another company, drop it off to her for alterations like pockets, extra venting, resizing and especially to have that "ballistic nylon" stretchy garbage taken out of anything you own like I did. Most of the companies aren't using REAL kevlar but some form of nylon or spandex! I insist on as much perforated leather in crotch and armpits as possible but still have to have a tiny bit of kevlar for flexibility. Jen is a whiz at this kind of stuff and does a lot of alterations for companies on this site that order stuff from other countries that don't fit when they get here.
