Me neither. That was shocking. Quite a life. Always loved the Specials, SKA tunes with a bit of a lyrical edge. A band that just looked like a bunch of average guys off a rough estate with a multicultural mix that was frowned upon by some at the time. Funboy 3 was good but no edge, just fun tunes.

Supposedly no one knew he was ill.

I was surprised to find out that Ghost Town was their biggest hit, I thought songs like a Message To You Rudy were bigger.

My personal favourite is Monkey Man.

Easily one of my favourite bands from my "Rude Boy" era.

FB3 was more of a departure from their ska days, into more experimental stuff, but yes, not as enjoyable imo
