You get what you pay for. It all comes down to what you can live with. I loved that nothing was touching my tank. In the past, I had tank bags scratch my paint, and I was careful with it as well, but scratches in time eventually came. It does cost more, but its a great system. Each to their own, but not sure if I would ever trust or want to glue something to my bike.

Yes pricey to be sure but really these bags are bombproof. I've had two Oxford lifetime bags that still are brilliant but I didn't want anything touching the paint this time around. Actually I will probably sell the Oxford bags at some point if you're interested.
