Aren't must vehicles in NA blatant consumerism? Most pickups used as grocery getters, mall crawler jeeps, and well just about every car with more than 100hp? Burn it if you got it.

Saw that same thing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Valet parked Rolls Royces on the same street as guys carrying dead rats in a cage strapped to their scooter.
The gap between very rich and very poor is pretty obvious.
