Well, now that it's moved...

Anybody remember the details from either of these stories?

-Rolling a Camaro in his youth and getting some serious surgery on his noggin
-Possibly doing jail time for importing a truckload of firearms with inadequate paperwork

I don't bring them up to disrespect him, rather to illustrate how he could be something of an outside-the-box thinker. He made reprogramming Yamaha ECUs his thing for a while, right?

I remember something about a court case for a bunch of "illegally imported" firearms.

It was all info he shouldn't have been putting on a public forum... and yeah, some sort of injuries (head injuries?) from rolling that camaro.

Sad when depression ends in suicide...

Wasn't it a grand prix GXP? Died a few times on the operating table. The top half of his face was reconstructed in that one.

Broke his leg in a motorbike crash (I think on a GTAM ride he organized).

Firearms mess included grenade launchers.

Knobbies on his SS (R1?).

Smart guy. The tech equivalent of a farmer. He could get a lot done with whatever he could get his hands on. Some bad luck and some self-inflicted bad luck. There but for the grace of god go I.

He helped me out years ago on getting tv channels on my computer long before it was commonplace like today.

Don't remember all the details as it was so long ago,. But the guy was a whiz with the tech stuff and kept finding me workarounds to get it going.

Barely knew him,. Never met him. But he was so helpful at that time.

Sorry I never got to say thanks properly.

I never met the guy personally, but man did I love reading his threads and posts on here. Wicked hilarious, and you could tell he was passionate.

He's the one that had some issues with a girl from this site right?
Also IIRC he put up a video of a track day where he slid off the track, can't remember if there was an injury or not.

Regardless, RIP. I've lost a few friends to various issues that ended in suicide. Sucks no matter how long it's been since it's happened.

I don't know if this is that, but this is his fb pic.

Depression is brutal - I've seen what it can do first hand.

I remember the firearms deal. Made the news for sure, but all i could find that lasted the test of time was this:

76 charges, holy moly.

After doing some cyber-archaeology, I can definitely say it was a Camaro.

Other traces of him:

ECU Flash - Yamaha - Choose Bike (of course)
RCMP interrupt large scale illegal gun importation (him putting the RCMP press release on his own site lol)
