Swear filter off?

I accidentally was able to just drop a vulgarity in a non-trash talk thread. I deleted it before my mom saw, but is the swear filter busted? Or do we not worry about that anymore
 
We're all adults here, I've never honestly understood the need for filtering the run of the mill curses on forums like this, but hey, not my forum, not my rules. Just MHO.

Now, the next level stuff like the C word, etc, sure... But the others, well..meh.
 
Piss off the filters are working fine. We don't need any more of that ****.

Since the last major site update, the swear filter seems to be working with an incomplete library. It doesn't bother me either way.

Just to tempt fate, we'll run a tourettes test: **** piss **** ******* **** *********

EDIT:
Hmm, working better than before.

EDIT 2:
TK is on to something. If you add letters to a base swear word, most of the time it makes it through.

It always will...unless someone adds said modified word to the filter list as well. This is why words like fucknugget and ******* are two of my favourite things! :LOL:
 
Dangit, apparently arsewipe is on the filter list. Guess I used it one too many times LOL

I figured they would be setup to eliminate certain collections of letters. It is not often that swearwords are randomly included in normal words. Hitting any swearword with **** even when a portion of a longer word lets you get away with a shorter filter list.
 
Have you used ass-wipe?
