SV Starting problem *****HELP*****

Don't forget the ground to chassis connection as Ken pointed out. I have seen it work loose or get corroded before. Grab it and pull, see if it's loose.
 
So I pulled off the tank, air box and checked the connectors. All are good checked the connections under the seat, checked the fuses and battery connections. Just to make sure I cleaned the battery connections again and put the battery on the charger and I'll try again later tho not sure what to do now as it started up fine before I took it apart. It only happens on start up other than the last time when I bumped it and got it going. When I press the starter it clicks under the seat and shuts off clock and trip odo reset back to zero. The really puzzling part is that the clock and trip odo have gone back to the correct time and km's???
 
Had the exact same thing on my GSXR it was the stator
 
Haven't taken it for a ride yet but since getting it home it has started up fine every time I have tried. I have checked and cleaned the battery terminals and have checked every connector I can find. I'm going borrow a multi meter and checking the charging system but I'm not convinced that's the problem
