Suzuki factory Brembo brakes.

Actually since they are still an OEM market cast caliper, not an aftermarket billet caliper they are still considered cheap IMO. Even thou they are Brembo brand, they are down near the bottom of their list of calipers, at around $500 each caliper....Considering Brembo's top of the line billet monoblock calipers are $3700 each without pads, a $500 OEM market Brembo is still considered cheap IMO....Any regular Nissin or Tokico OEM caliper is going to be around the same price from Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, etc

It is a Brembo but its an OEM market Brembo (Not HP and Racing line), and its like comparing apples to oranges when it comes to price

Very similar to the new ones coming on the GSXR

How do these compare to the Ducati monoblocks like on the 1198?

How do they compare to a billet mono block or how do they compare to the OEM mono blocks coming on the GSXR?

The GSXR and Ducati cast mono blocks are both very similar......Neither is close to the billet calipers on a manufacturing, technology, materials, or price....However majority of us mortals would never be able to tell the difference, especially on a street bike. Or anything less then world superbike front runners pace

Are they aloud to change calipers in that series? And the CBR 1000RR in the picture does have Brembo front rotors...In the first picture only the 1000 has them, in the 2nd picture the 600RR has Brembo rotors also

CSBK rules allow the changing of rotors, as long as they are the same diameter as OEM.

Calipers must remain OEM.

Thats what I thought, masters, lines, and rotors are aloud but calipers are a not....

What about suspension? Can they use complete Ohlins forks or just internals?

I'm quite sorry to nit pick your grammar, but it is "allowed" not "aloud". You would use aloud if say you were speaking aloud.

Thanks Im a drop out, so my grammar is not the best....Neither is my hand writing or spelling, I work with computers

Somebody took my Grammar Nazi post

I would not typically point out grammatical errors like the common 'their' 'there' 'they're', but 'aloud' and 'allowed' is one I have not really encountered a lot so I felt justified with my post.

In one of the threads I pointed a simple grammatical error, about 2-3ppl quote each other. Its one of those that detract from the meaning of the phrase.

They called me annoying, when simple errors are more annoying.

My understanding is that on the new Gixxers, they did many things to shave off weight within reason.

The new Brembo's are lighter than whatever they were using before.

On top of that, lets face it, Brembo's are viewed (whether true or not) as a premium brand.

In the world of me too Jap 600's. Any "edge", perceived or real, can be considered an advantage in the marketplace.

Now only if Suzuki could have done something about the *yawn* styling.
