There are many odd people other there (and most of them use kijiji). I wouldn't say that ad is suspicious, as it is a 10 year old account
 
Those fairings weren't seen on any GSX-R 1000 until 2015. He claims they are OEM and he's the original owner.

Asking price for a 12 yr old bike is unreasonable in the first place imo so I’d walk away right there. All the rest is just padding for that decision

I know! I was talking to a guy today that said he was going to GP to buy a new bike. "they better throw in a new helmet, jacket, boots and gloves"
I just laughed, with stock the way it is, good luck. lol

A lot of them are asking for more than they were purchased new!

New and used vehicle prices are insane right now. I purchased my new Kia March 2020. For the exact same model with about 40,000 - 50,000 km I see a large number of dealers charging more than I paid for the new one over 2 years ago.
