Suspension, but 0 demerit points

Email to FSCO:

Hello,

My family is looking at another option for car insurance. We've spoken to CAA and we were working through all the information when they checked my personal record and saw the following on my record:

SUSPENDED UNTIL 10:17 AM ON FEB. 2, 2012, RACING
CONTEST OR STUNT - ADMINISTRATIVE SUSPENSIONS
SUSPENSION

7 days after it says:

REINST - SUSP. EXPIRED OR RESCINDED
SUSPENSION

Current demerit points 00

I was not charged with stunt driving, nor are there any issues on my record aside from this one. The CAA representative refused to take my family on, citing the ADLS suspension as the reason. From what I've read on your website, this isn't allowed.

What is the proper course of action here? I do not want to cause waves, but I do want to switch insurance companies and it would save my family over $2000 a year to switch to CAA. Is there something I can tell this representative because it seems as though what he did is illegal.

Thank you in advance,
