Supershow - Jan 2-4 , is it worth attending?

Parking is worse every year. Had to pay down the street and walk and we got there at about 1pm. We won't even try the parking lot next time as its pointless. I'll go cause I have friends and family to make a day with to check out bikes in the winter. But from what I saw its getting smaller and everyone is getting older. Not a young mans hobby it seems. And the DVD guy is almost done trying to sell his old crap. Maybe next year he'll retire. No new bikes from what I saw. I like February show a bit better for the new bikes.

Weird went with some friends parked right by the door no issue at all lots of parking open when I left as well.

There was plenty of parking but the idiots closed all the parking lots with spaces available and pushed everyone to the derry road parking lot.

I was on airport at around 1 waiting on the car line, saw an empty spot and drove over the side walk into a perfectly empty parking spot. Jeep FTW

I was there yesterday, got a new suomy helmet from gp bikes. Thing is bloody light! But not much else in deals there. Seems much smaller then the last time I went. Also too many butter face models there. I was so disappointed.

I don't care what anyone says, (not that I'd actually care), but I love going to the show, not necessarily for shopping but just for the fun of getting out in the dead of winter to check out things bike related, meeting people - both new and old, planning summer bike trips etc. Yes there are deals to be found, some flea market type vendors, expensive food = .. .. .. .. "One man's garbage is another man's potpourri".

Went at 9:30,parked 20m from the door,a little wait inside for the opening.Didn't look at any of the bikes. This show isn't for the new bikes anyway.Bumped into Aminal,Wobblycat/Wigglycat and Paul.Great to see people!Talked to the tech at Dualsport Plus about my wrecked Ossa motor.Really great people there.Chewed on Kneedraggers ear for a while.Same at about 6 other booths.
Like I've always said....it's all about the people!

Parked at the go station, oh no a 5 minute walk. Talked with Toni at blustreak. Saw a guy I met at CTMP in aug , ran into a guy I haven't seen in 30 years. And gave John and Matt $1600 for pieces of cow. Good times.

Shhhh don't spoil the "secret" parking spot lol.

I'm going today to walk around with the wife, hopefully the crowd has died down.

At gate 2 if anyone wants a ticket. Be there for 5 mins. Look for the fat guy and the kid in the stroller.

Tad disappointing for me. I wanted to sit and get a feel for the 3 bikes I am contemplating about. The F800GT was there but no such luck with either the Ninja 1000 or Hyperstrada, which is weird as you would think that's not much of an ask from a 'Super' show. I was on the fence about the VFR800 as it seemed similar in ergonomics to my F4i that I want to trade in so, at least that is out of the running now.
