I see it as consistency. You are entitled to your day in court, but also obligated to do your civic duty. Without both, there can be no justice.

The Nuremberg excuse was "I was just following orders."

Is HTA 172 justice? It's a law. Do you support it as your civic duty?

If your Dell laptop won't communicate with your HP printer is it Bill Gates civic duty to come to Toronto and testify for $40?.

I accepted my civic duty to follow the correct procedures. I DID THAT.

I followed the law and did nothing unethical. Instead of parroting "Civic duty, civic duty" try explaining what I did wrong other than failing to meet your personal undefined eleventh commandment.

so i got this yellow letter. i dont wanna go but the bottom says if i dont go i could get fined and/or jailed.
