I prop mine up on both stands and even in the winter when its cold I just fire it up every other day, no stab or tender needed. I do have the luxury of a big garage and a spot where I park my bike the tail is righ at the door, so I dont even need to take it out from the garage.

This goes against what I've always read is the "right" way to do it. Everything says starting it up just for a little while does more harm than good.

Doing that puts water in the pipes and strains the battery. Great way to rot out an exhaust.
