My guess is an adapter to put a bag on and catch the exhaust. Analyze the bag contents after. I didnt look at the pictures.

Haha. I'm with you. If you managed to break even parting that out you would be doing well. They've been watching too much American Pickers. Even his username "Treasurehunterdonpec".

I'm not sure I'd be interested in a $10K bike that seems to need to be pushed everywhere.

Some close up photos of the bike might help too. Looks more like a poorly conceived ad campaign for t-shirts and a crappy retro helmet.

I can't really think of who this bike is for. Is it legal for any race series?

I guess if you are rolling in that tax bracket and you want to be different than your buddies running V4S's at the private track day?
