Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

a clown here is asking 8000 for a 2007 CBR600rr with 25k km, 2 post below him is a 2010 same colour, with about 17k for only $200 more...
where the **** do they come up with these prices??

when you finance the bike purchase and get sucked into the 9.9-15.9% financing, you want to make your money back on the sale.
You know how all these folks say a new 600 is 10-12K on the road? Then some of them finance them and realize, 'holy balls bro, dis bike be like 16,000. Gots to make dat chedda back'

so yeah. Weather + limited riding season also play a factor.

The guy i bought my cbr from paid 17 and change out the door. He financed it for a ridiculous rate over 5 years and it came up to $25,000 and change.

I almost fainted when i saw that.

If they only taught people about compounding interest more than calculus and derivatives in high school, it'd be a much different world.
