Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Nice bike and not common but 15 seems a little steep

I guess it could be used for vintage racing (with more investment), but at that price, if people want performance, they can buy a newer S1000RR for a lot less and run laps around this all day.
This guy is selling a ton of cool racing stuff from the 80s and 90s from his collection, but I doubt any of it will sell at the prices he wants.

As for this bike...where is the $15k? Its a $3-4K bike with some custom bits. It's been raced. It can be rebuilt for much less.

either we're all missing the point of what the bike is, or he's on crack

if it was a special/race only, does it have street ownership (assuming so since its setup for street use.

ADDED THE 1994 ANODIZED BLUE INVERTED FRONT END TO MAKE THE BIKE HANDLE LIKE A 2000-2003 GSXR750.

is he talking about the turn in/stability, or has he braced the frame too?

this may be a special bike to him, but not to anyone else

They dont make gsx-r's like they used to I remember them to be slightly larger...

there are quite a few sellers that need to re-evaluate their "investment" strategies. Perhaps letting them know an "investment vehicle" is not a literal term.

Hey gang, this one keeps getting better all the time. I e-mailed the seller to ask about the scratches showing up in the photos as well as to question the price. Here is the e-mail response I just received:

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my 2013 Ducati 848 Evo Corse. It is in perfect condition, with no scratches on it, no damage, always garaged, always covered. Everything about this bike functions perfectly. Incredible power, handling and reliability. If you are interested in buying, the price is CAD $2,500.
I had to move with my family to London, UK but because now i don't have time to ride i decided to sell the bike.
The transaction will be done through eBay for our own protection, no money first to me.
Your funds will be 100% insured by eBay until you will receive and inspect the bike, and I will be sure that I will receive the payment.
You will have 5 days from the time you receive the bike to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
If you want to buy my bike then e-mail me: Full name for the title, Shipping address
As soon as I have this information I'll start the official procedure, and eBay will notify you about this. You'll also receive important guidelines + instructions from them (please go through them exactly). I'll handle the shipping, so this will be free of charge for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Susan Lafame
