Ok not bike related but so stupidly silly and he’s serious

Kinda curious how they moved it there without the whole thing folding up like an empty candy wrapper. I wonder how much time they had to spend posing it to make it look car-shaped for the photo

I don't know if this is stupidly overpriced, just overpriced or just plain stupid...Looks like a lot of work went into it though.

Compared to this, a real can-am looks like a Ferrari.
I think this is the dumbest thing I have every seen.
And I haven't even clicked the link.

Ya.... that is never going on the road.

I am slightly interested in the front steering and suspension function/geometry. Sadly the one crappy pic gives me little info. I think it would be hard to find a mechanic willing to put their ticket on the line for that.

What more do you need? All the important info is right there in the one photo and description that only says "Honda"

The entire front is from a car. What car has 3 stud wheels?

*squints* is that the front subframe off of a Smart Fortwo?

And now that I clicked on the link, I can say that, that is the dumbest ad I have ever seen.

Item being sold is dumb.
Price is dumb.
and the ad itself is dumb. No description, just the word "Honda" with a stupid price tag.

He wins the dumbest guy on the internet award.

Seems like a reasonable guess. Other options for three bolt wheels are Citroën and Peugeot but they won't be readily available around here.

As for telescopic forks, I highly suspect that they will have pipes in them to lock them out. Wheel/suspension/subframe/suspension would be awful. I don't know if expertise, time and money would be sufficient to tune that.

The ad could be called brilliant as it doesn't present that mistake as anything but Honda, making it hard for any rube that might buy it and suffer from buyers remorse to call the vendor out for misrepresentation.
Simple is good...

???? Kawasaki Vulcan 500 $2200 problem is USA ownership. All you have to do is export it from the USA and import it into Ontario. A few $1000 plus loads of paperwork and time if they allow it. Plus a trip to the border with the bike.

It may be in purgatory. If you don't properly import it, you often can't get it back to the states to begin the import process and you can't import it from this side. Sadly, that would make it a part out but I doubt you can make much parting out that bike.

Interesting that it has an ontario plate on it? Riding dirty and alpr caught up to them?

The whole ad is a train-wreck.

New front brake fluid and proper bleed in 2023 - What a random bit of information
The rear brake was adjusted a few rides after it was taken out of indoor storage this year. - um, Ok
Clutch and brakes dialed. - again.... should this not be a given?
Needs front tire.. decent tread but weather cracked. Rear is still good. - *doubt
Suspension is pretty impressive, no leaks. - well..... that is impressive.... lol
All lights and signals/ switches work good. - ?
Don't need to sell, - Lucky for you.

Ugh. $2,000 down to $600. The ubiquitous no ownership. I don't see more than $200 in salvageable parts there.
