Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

How do you finance something and owe more than the purchase price? Adding in $890 for freight, PDI, and fees and then HST, they should have paid $14,452.

What is his financing rate over 4 years? 7%?

He financed delivery too and maybe the first service. He never says when he bought it. Maybe there haven't been any loan payments yet.

And then on top of all that, the buyer gets to pay an additional 13% HST upon registration.

Meanwhile, a brand new 2023 is $11,240 + 899 + HST.
but but but, this one has the first service done. That's got to be worth something right? So little understanding of reality by so many people.

I just want to know if these people actually believe their ads makes sense. If this person had seen this ad at the time of their purchase, would they have bought???

I figure these ads are a product of desperation. They bought the bike during the COVID price escalation and took the financing option with a minimal down payment like they do for nearly everything they buy. Then at some point they realize they're in WAY over their head and put something up for sale at a nonsensical price because they really don't understand what they were doing in the first place.

Wants others to pay for those gawdy and tasteless mods.

I'd pay that much for just the Arrow sticker !

I'm pretty sure that guy is well represented in this thread. Has a handful of bikes, has ruined them all and wants a fortune for them.

14k for a vmax with 43000 km?

My friend picked up a mint condition anniversary edition in summer for $5600
