Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Someday all those stock OEM motor co mufflers that everybody still has sitting on a shelf will be worth something.
Provided the price of scrap metal skyrockets....
Or government requires scheduled safeties. For off-road use only stamped on a plated vehicle is an easy fail for the shop. I'm not sure if there are enough legal mufflers left to bring all the harleys and sport bikes back into compliance.

Prices of Harley parts are just as insane as Japanese parts!

$5000 Harley Frame - modified to make it unusable on the street!

OK, am I missing something here? Is the a "super limited edition" of this bike?
It’s the performance/exclusive model - M1000RR. The ‘normal’ model is S1000RR.

Iirc BMW can make 8 M1KRRs per day.

But he’s out to lunch. A fully loaded ‘23 will run you $47k + tax.

Inflation has not spared even this thread
Time to rename the thread to delusional overpriced motorcycle for sale
Probably trying to recover the loan. These models should hold value, appreciation at this point is a bit of a gaff.

Harley Transmission - Only $250. Apparently from the bottom of Lake Ontario.
Interesting. Straight cut gears.

As expected, that seller has many things with one foot in the grave.

They also don't know what they have in some cases. This one I think is a test prop to load engines on a stand without making too much thrust.

I’m not a plane guy, but can’t you dial back the pitch to zero on a standard prop?

I'm not really a plane guy. If you feather a prop and feed in full power, I don't know if it can take it. Also, given the size of this thing, I suspect it is for a big radial and the proper props would be much longer and require a much taller engine stand. Even a beaver swings a prop over 8' in length.

Now, I could be wrong that this is a test prop but shape is strange (short, thick, huge chord, flat tip).

Anyone looking to help this guy buy a house?

Why buy a 2023 for $11,899 when you can buy a 4 year old mt-09 for $15,000!

He might as well have said "you have to pay my financing costs, bro..."
