What's going on with the side stand? That doesn't look like I would expect a stock stand to look. Has the ride height been monkied with?

Not in '86, it's a 250, and a '86 250 should be white and red, not yellow.
There was a yellow 360cc, but it was a four stroke
I don't know if I want a motorcycle that's subject to a "power ban"
Seems to me that would be a BAD thing.

They're also selling a spare 300 motor from a 4-wheeler (according to the ad). This could be a non-running, abused, abandoned, frankenbike.
 
I had some bad power bands but they were chinese, as soon as I went with oem all was good...

No way that's an 86 anyway. Front drum brake and air cooled 2t says its earlier, blue fender and yellow tank make me question the originality of the plastics altogether.
