Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Motor swap, back half of a F355 kit car body... hmm how far away is this thing?

I remember that thing from january, and the horrible snow covered pics. The question is can this even be safetied and registered for the road?

It appears to have been on the road in 2013. Insurance would hate you but it may just be registered as a motorcycle with the ministry. The MTO may not know about the horrendous cosmetic surgery.

And finding a shop willing to attach their name to that safety haha.

Probably be registered as a homebuilt. If that's the case, it is kind of tempting as a project to resurrect and redeem it. It will fit an LS engine, and a ferrari spyder rear shell could be kind of cool, especially if there's a nice sized turbo sticking out of the bonnet.

My guess?

That was the year he got pulled over, handed a bundle of tickets for everything under the sun and was then forced to trailer it home. And then his insurance company got wind and cancelled the policy for misrepresentation as it almost certainly was insured as a "motorcycle" even though it's actually an abhorrationcycle.

And it's sat there and rotted ever since.

Like I said previously, probably registered it as a homebuilt. It is technically a trike, which qualifies as a motorcycle, which are easy enough to register as home built. I mean, if at the time he satisfied the safety checklist for a homebuilt, he gets a plate.

Assuming he did it all above board, which considering the cousin bonking skoal chewing trailer park level of redneck going on there...is questionable.

The comments are gold.

The Fiero was built on the X chassis which was a GM disaster. To make things worse they built it backwards.
What's sad is that when they finally got it right, the damage was done and they cancelled it. My uncle had an early 1984 2M4 model and it was horrible. iirc he had the engine replaced under recall for fire risk. I drove a few and was tempted to buy a 1988 Formula V6 with the new suspension, that was actually a fun car to drive.

Typical GM, they had the ability and opportunity to make a great car but they blew it by cheaping out on the development.

Still listed.

I bought a 2020 from the dealer for less then $8,500. All in.
I bought and sold my 2017 for $5500....total of 6000km. The guy's out of his mind, and either his mom/wife is mighty ****** or he can say 'Look mom/wife...I tried to sell it but can't. Guess I should keep it."

Damn that is nuts. Yeah no, if I've got that much cash in my pocket and I'm looking for a used cruiser, I know how much Harley I can get for almost $10k

I messaged and asked the seller if they understand that they're $7300 brand new MSRP right now.

Heck, pretty sure dealers would undercut even the MSRP now to make some sales.

But his has been well cared for and kept inside! It will be interesting to see if he is trying to recover the entire outstanding loan or if they dont want to sell sit but are pretending to try.
