Why not? I got a similar yet better deal on a 2014 cbr1k rr, had less than 4k km. No one is buying SS these days because of insurance. Sellers have no choice but to price it low.
2009 R1s were going for 8k just couple months ago. Low kms too

Also, I'm aware that a rebuilt brand=not allowed on the street here in Ontario, what about Alberta? Would it still be limited to parts or track use only?

I think they mean actual 100, the k just standing for KM. No way that bike has 100,000 on it.

The fact that the ad description says "Like new", would imply it really does have only a 100 km on it. Tough to believe for such an old bike
