Saw that one and was going to place it here as well. If that is the case I can sell mine now for more than I paid two years ago and I doubled the kms. Might be a good way to make a $1000. lol. It seems harder and harder for people to insure SS bikes yet the cost of used ones seems to be rising and rising in most peoples mind.
I think it is important to take into account the condition of the bike. Can you buy one for 4k? Sure. But is it going to have twice the kms and need seals, tires, chain, sprocket, brakes. Suddenly your 4k bike is $5500 and is only $500 off the guy asking 6k for a mint one with low km.
Not even going to mention the bikes with "Movistar" edition fairing that are clearly eBay cheap plastic after a crash.
Not true. I purchased my 2008 GSXR-750 in mint condition with 12,00 kms, new tires, full taylor made exhaust, tidy tail, double bubble windscreen, levers and all the nice additions one would do to motorcycle for 6K. This was 2 full seasons ago. I think there are way to many SS bikes out there with prices way out to lunch. Anything priced reasonably is gone almost right away. A SOAR racer posted his SS for a great price and it was sold in hours. That being said there is a sucker born every day I suppose.

That's $2799.99 over Current MSRP, I'm Not sure What the Factory Option Packages Cost but I Could Believe $2800 for the Factory Options he Listed, Therefore He's Selling it for $4750.99 Less than what He Paid for it 2 Years Ago (Bought New from Dealer May 2016), Appears to be in Good Condition, Comes Certified & Still Under Factory Warranty for Another Year (May 2019)Original purchase price $16,749.99
