+/- a few HP at some specific RPM - that's all that you're look at when buying a bike? Do you have a Hayabusa by any chance? It has tons of power and you can buy it relatively cheap.

Re-read your own post about CBR first. You complained that it's more expensive than other bikes, but it has less power and has ABS. So pretty much yes, I can assume a lot based on your post.

Actually, people collect prisitine 50s and pay up to 2 grand. The MB5 made 6.7hp and weighed 175lbs, actually went 80km/hr.
