I noticed that there haven't been any stolen bike threads as of late.
Good on you guys for keeping your bikes safe and properly securing them.

I hope I don't jinx it or anyone!

just curious, anybody know of or heard of bikes getting stolen from Front St. just East of Bay?

I heard of a Black GSXR 1000 stolen from that area about two weeks ago...you missing a bike?

nope, mine was still there last I checked. I figure it would be relatively safe place to park considering the number of bikes there.
guess I'm wrong. Did it get stolen during the day?

No and i think that was the problem. He said he last saw it there at 4:30 am. He went to go home at 7 am and it was gone. He left his helmet on it and both bike and helmet were gone. It was a blue and green helmet with a black stripe that runs on the top from front to back. Looks like someone scored themselves a package deal thanks to his trust of parking spots.

Perhaps someone can elaborate, but I've heard twice now that there was a major bust of car/motorcycle thieves in Niagara in June. Perhaps this is the reason bikes are staying put. I'm sure condo owners aren't doing anything different.

thieves are waiting for the Autumn restock, where owners have them cleaned with fresh oil and put away in their condos.

toronto had a big bust..

I think the thieves may have read the GTAM thread that says BIKES ARE DANGEROUS and got out the business...

I think the thieves realized they weren't in control of their life when they were on the bikes. I mean we all know what 2nd gear can do..
