I had BB paid 8 and sold it at 14 on the way up wasn't going near it again.

I put in a buy order without an expiry and the damn thing triggered right at the end of the day at $18. Ah well.
Might just cut my losses and use the money for something else. It's not a lot anyway.
Lost too many fingers doing that but did it again too.
Longer term? Yikes. At my age, a year is a very long term.Park some of it in a longer term. I still have a big GIC in a flex rate 3 years later.
Still heavy with the banks, hence up yesterday and level so far today.
Still down 15% on my Amazon position despite the 6% left today for the split. My LSPD is now irrelevant and should have bought a nice Omega instead.
I was hoping to get a cashable 30 day, but it wasn't offered.
This money needs to be available, asap, so when the tidal wave hits, I'm ready to dive right in.

Aw hell no. Sell sell sell. They know nothing and contribute nothing useful to that deal other than money. If I wanted to buy precious metals, I'd buy a precious metal producer/broker/etc not a movie theater dabbling in stonks.

LSPD was up 8.5% today. I am taking my own advice and will probably sell 30% of my holdings tomorrow at open (missed the bell by a minute today). It should have a bad day tomorrow and if it drops more than 5%, I will put the money in again at the end of day.
It gained another 1% after hrs, state side. It likely sees green tomorrow too. Futures are up big atm. Maybe put a stop loss to work?
It's rare that is has two big green days in a row. Not too worried about a stop loss. Trying to use the volatility to get my average cost down. I dont have access to automation that will implement my plan. Needs to be done manually for now. I will look in the morning at after hours numbers and cancel the sell if it looks like it is a bad idea.

I'm sticking with sell sell sell and never ever put any money in AMC. They are obviously flopping around like a dead fish. Sure, you might make money in the short-term but long-term it is headed to zero.
Well, that was close. Cancelled the sale. Up 7.4% today. Friggin gambling. This is almost as bad as trying to play online poker with fake money. Trying to use rational thought to predict irrational behaviour is frustrating at best.

Every night I'm up every 45 minutes "shaking the dew", so I turn the tube on every time (can see tv from the ensuite) to watch gold, silver prices, and the US futures. Last night was wild. When I posted, all 3 were up huge. 4am was red. 8am up huge again.
Cool/terrifying story of another short squeeze gone wrong followed by the market authority manipulating the market (in this case they cancelled an entire day of trades). As similar interventions seem to be happening with increasing frequency it will be interesting to see what happens. Continually having markets/trading platforms manipulate the ability to conduct trades is somewhere between confidence destroying and outright fraud.

Yeah, I stayed in. Still down a long way from when I bought. It was always a long-term play for me i was just trying to use the volatility to get my cost per share down as i made my buys at the wrong time (in hind sight).
That sucks I bought it at exactly the right time. Too maximize my losses
