If the weather co-operates this weekend (12 or 13th) I would like to do another run up north. I have a route idea to cut it from about 600km down to about 500km but still keep off any 400 series and still sit down to a good lunch. It takes out some of my favourite roads but gets us home at a decent time and may allow some exploring of roads we haven't been on in a while.

I will be up in Wilberforce for the whole weekend (Fri-Mon), so if any of you should head up this way, then I might be able to meet up for lunch and a ride up in the Algonquin area. I want to also check out a few roads that I have never been on before and see what they are like.
Hey Shane. I was originally thinking of heading towards Rosseau and usually make my way through Minden and Huntsville.
There is plenty of new-to-me roads in the Algonquin area that I would like to check out and don't mind the odd broken road. Definitely could give the 507 a miss in search of more lake access type roads. I still have to have some things come together schedule wise to figure out how much time I have for a ride so if things work out and I can get out before the crack of noon I will be in touch.

Sounds good. Sunday looks to be rain up north, so I will be heading out on Saturday for a ride pretty early, but will have my phone with me and plan to ride all day. I put together a route of backroads and trails which I want to check out.

Google Maps would only allow this route in bicycle mode, so hopefully that means they are still passable by motorbike. I have no idea how long this route will take, but I have my mapbook and GPS and imagine I will get lost a few times.

Sorry guys but I will not be riding this weekend as there is a family emergency to deal with.
Shane, looks like a fantastic route and makes me want a v-strom to also enjoy one day. I'd be standing up for half that ride on a Bandit though.
