The agents cannot deviate from their company's rating manual that is filed with the regulator. If you are quoting the exact same coverage levels you premium should be *exactly* the same, regardless of the agent doing the quoting.

I spoke with him. I was referred to another broker friend since allstate would be super high considering I'm a novice rider. Broker referred me to rider's plus - same reason. Riders Plus said they don't insure sportbikes and that I should try state farmers. The farmers (diff agent and location) quoted roughly same numbers:
zx-6r no collision, no theft, no fire. 1 mil liability. $1,000 deductible
$212 / mnth
zx-14 full coverage. 1 mil liability. $1,000 deductible
$221
Mind as well look for a zx if only diff is $21/mnth

Did you try calling another SF agent? Typically, all SF agents would be the same rate so I find that really strange that your rate is so high.

M license
At least 1 year motorcycle insurance history and is still active.
If they meet those requirements I can set them up, if they don’t it gets tricky. I only tell you this so I don’t disappointment. If you are unsure just send them to me and I will do whatever I can to help them.

I will give the guy a call tomorrow. I hadn't considered Allstate. I'm very close to 30... about 3 months ago. I don't mind starting a bit higher now if they will drop the rate when I turn 30. I need policy for a house, 2 cars, 1 bike... 3rd car very soon. I hope.
