Starlink speeds

Bell express vu for tv and copper line for phone. She knows what she wanted, we were happy to ensure she got it, even took her to Bell. If she's happy, we're happy. She has never used the Internet so we'll deal with that.
Ok when we had bell they offered tv and phone through the same box as the Internet connected to the cell tower.

Yea, we're going old school....lol

Xplorenet is hit and miss. For some it delivers what is promised and they have little to no issues. For many it's a headache, slow, drops out often. Their customer service is also like talking to a brick wall (actually it's exactly like speaking to the dumbest person you can imagine). If you call because your internet is not working they'll try to fix it online (thet'll take an hour of your time on your laptop) then they'll issue a ticket and they'll file it under "G" and do nothing. Then you'll call back days later saying nothing has changed and they'll again test and see it's not working properly and say they can send out a tech to look at it but if the tech doesn't find anything wrong at your house you'll have to pay for the service call. They're a joy........

Well, the current owner asked us if we'd like to continue with the current xplorenet.
We agreed, this means no connection fees etc. Just take over the billing.
Hopefully the decent service continues.

When you call to complain that you're only getting 3mbps they reply "Well it's up to 50mbps..."
Ha! that is pretty much any ISP now-a-days.
From the previous owner 4 boys all gamers (online) and they could still stream Netflix etc.
If this is the case, I'll be happy as we'll use half as much.

Update:
In the new place and have two ISP's that I'm pretty pleased with.

Bell at 25mbps for work (can go up to 50mbps)
Xplorenet at 50mbps for personal.

While we've only been here since November 30 we're monitoring these services closely and will say that even in the rainy/snowy foggy weather performance seems pretty solid and we're getting the speeds as advertised.

Now of course everything can change, but currently its nice to have one less thing to worry about.

Same as sales / clearances in stores....

'Save UP TO 50%' meanwhile everything is 5-10%.
Same as everything - it is the "cover your ass" policy and we all use it.. :p
