I make a habit of parking my vehicles in front of his house during the day when street parking is allowed.
I have a neighbor like that. He confronts lawn care companies looking for all their compliance stuff, arborists for tree cutting permits, bylaw officers when cars are left on the streets.

I bought my last Goldwing from a rider (Bob) just outside of Detroit, living in one of those manicured estate sized lot places. When I picked the bike up it came up in conversation that he had a neighbour that was a Neat Nazi. One day immediately after Bob mowed his lawn the Neat Nazi is on his case about grass trimmings on the sidewalk. Bob didn't even have time to get his leaf blower out. The issue was resolved without gunfire.
A few weeks later Neat Nazi must have gotten heavy into the schnapps and was seen driving over all the front lawns on his riding mower. Police were called and a keystone cops police chase ensued with a guy on a mower. (Benny Hill sound track)
No one was injured and the up side is the red faced Neat Nazi has taken up indoor activities that keep him off the streets.

On another note, I’m frankly baffled that we haven’t heard anything with regards to the border reopening yet.

Not official, but it was mentioned on the tv news over the weekend, that an extra month was going to be added on. grrrrrrrrr
As much as I want the border to reopen, I'm not sure that is the best idea at the current moment.
The US has hit a saturation point with vaccine uptake. They are sitting at about 47% fully vaccinated, we should overtake them by the end of the week despite having a much later start. Some states only have a low 30% vaccination rate (States ranked by percentage of population fully vaccinated: July 13) The Delta variant is spreading and cases are rising in the US. Not a huge issue at the moment, but may become one very quickly.
Another month will see Canada at about 70% fully vaccinated. We should have a much better idea as to what the risk is to people that are fully vaccinated. I would also like to see the implementation of some sort of vaccine passport to limit border travel to vaccinated people only.

Re-open the borders ... to anyone with secure proof of vaccination (and start issuing said proof of vaccination to our own citizens). The EU now has it. Some US states (notably California) have it. Has to be for all means of entry, not just airports. That not all US states are ready for this (and some are reluctant to do it), is their problem.
Reasonable concept. How long before cdn govt has a system operational? Is the plan a federal or provincial system?
