Can't remember a nastier winter.
But bikes are going by (on Lakeshore Boulevard West) right now!
Guys, just don't get caught out after dark - any water will freeze.
Not to mention your nads, heheh...

I have NO BIKE this spring, first time in decades. Not happy about it. :(
But... I guess I don't need six helmets? Um, not really says the wife.
(Three lids for sale - see advert in Men's Clothing.)
Ride safe! Cage drivers are getting nuttier every year...
Regards

Just driving through Brooklin and saw a guy on his bike.

What are you hoping for in the future? Bike wise.

Still getting a ton of salt on the car when driving. Bike is waiting for a good rainfall.

The way I realized spring had sprung is yesterday when I was munching on a pizza at a local mall and a pretty asian lady walked by the window a few times in heels, a tight skirt and stockings. :love10:

I want VFR1200 ($15 grand)
But will probably get NC750S ($8 grand) just to tiddle around on, heheh...
Radical idea: YZF-R3 times two ($9 grand) for me and a buddy to enjoy!
Not getting any younger, and it's definitely not my primary transportation anymore.
(Ah, those were the days...)
But I want to see R3 first and check it out.
I also like FZ-09 ($9 grand) - but two R3's might actually provide more fun...

I need new battery & little touches to the bike

I saw a DRZ400. All those puddles are carrying a lot of salt.
No way in hell my bike is coming out yet.
However, I did start her up yesterday

Where was that DRZ you saw?

And would that dumb anxious rider be in a slightly better position if he washed it well after his ride?

What a pair of awesome days. Glad to see all this snow melting away. Even if I wouldn't ride just yet, the smell is definitely in the air.. :D

Yeah it was kinda weird riding on the go train this morning, seeing a bike riding on lakeshore with bits of the lake being frozen in the background.

By the way, if you havent, try the 500 and the 750 to see which band you like the most (of course if you havent tried em).

500 is cheaper too ;)

I won't be out until April at the earliest. Back in the day I was out by St. Patrick's Day. Got caught in a snowstorm April 3 back in '86, damn near froze on the way home. Oh for the days of reckless youth.

Oh man, some weatherman said it's about to snow for sure...

I was watching weather network last night and they were showing models which are showing a BIG cool down coming third week of Mar and still snow is very likely. I am going up to Lindsay tomorrow to look at the storage yard, and IF I can get trailer out to the unit then I will pull bike out take it to dealership as the new fuel tank has been sitting on their shelves since last Oct..lol.

Then pick bike up mid next week and bring it down to Oshawa, where it will go inside the shed covered for a few more weeks yet.

Yes it is! Pretty well sums it up...

Yeah but... once you get it in the shed, it's SPRING! So that's a noble goal, right there.

Milton area.. saw some guy on his 250 or 300 kawie and he had on a parka to go with it... now that's some dedication

Lol I ride with my snowboard jacket ontop of my riding jacket when it's really cold. Underarmour ftw. Riding in a parka is dedication but also sort of dumb if you don't have any proper riding gear anywhere except your helmet and gloves. IMO. Good for them though. Stay safe!

A vfr800 would be a lot more fund than an nc750s for half the price
