Sporty non-ss Bike

only the 2000 zzr doesnt get surcharge. when i checked all the 2004 and up zzr600s (which imho is the better looking one) do get surcharge. on jevco at least.

Triumph Street Triple. Except that I'm sensing you don't like naked.

but I do!!!!

Just wondering how one would go about outriding a 250 in and around the GTA?

mmm those are super sexy. whats the aprilia?
i checked the triple, still has surcharge for some reason

or erm i mean its not surcharge, its just expensive cause of the ccs

check out the Street triple r not the speed triple. street triple is 675 cc naked beast, same look minus the single swing arm. no surcharge

To think a little outside of the box: The Kawasaki Versys has something like 75HP, with the same parallel twin engine as the Ninja 650R, but has better stock forks. It doesn't get surcharged by Jevco or Co-operators.S

Forums like ADVRider have people on them, who have done some pretty wild mods to this bike.

Definatly check out a 2003 z750 or if you want z1000. I can't believe there was only one small mention of a z750 and NO Z1000
Sick Bike. Looks sporty, fast as hell, cheaper on insurance, more comfortable than a ss, light and nimble compare to other sport touring.
The way to go

1000 cc is a lot of bike for someone coming off a 250.

You will have a steep learning curve. I went from a ninja 500 to an sv1000s and it was a little unsettling at first...

I say don't get a tuono... That is asking for trouble lololol

zzr 600 is the best bike for what your looking for.

Many feel it outclasses the sv650 and those bikes, but yet has the same insurance. It is also only 600cc so insurance is lower than a liter bike.

Happy hunting!

I know the OP isn't stoked about the Sv650 b/c of lack of fairings...but don't forget the SV650S, the faired version! Once I master my GS500F, I'm pretty sure this will be my next ride.

Check out the BMW bikes, all are standard bikes with the exeption of the S1000RR.
