I'm on a sport tourer (FZ6) and I LOVE it. Has enough power on the street, comfortable for long rides and 2 up with it just as often as I ride solo.
Can pack enough on it for a few days out and it has never missed a beat. Fairly easy to work on as well.

However, I would love to have a HD XR1200 or a V-Rod. But, I would also love a supermotard (but won't since that sucker will get me in trouble).

I'm thinking of my next bike and seriously considering the speed tripple, but the new headlights are horrible to look at.

If I had the money, I would have a garage full of different bikes.

Which is so sad because the bike is heads and tails above the 2010 in terms of performance.

Bad back, so it would never work for me. Though I do plan on switching from my ZZR to a Sport Touring or Dual Purpose next season. Just hard to find one that looks good.

Actually I'd probably buy a tourer or sport-tourer first, rather than a cruiser. My back doesn't much like the "Harley Slump" over extended distances.

Correction, I'd just do what I did already:

How do you find the ER6n with the saddlebags? I've been looking at that one, but wasn't sure how it fared being fitted like a touring bike.

No. Never. I would never ride a bike that could be outperformed by a minivan.
A powercruiser like a Diavel...maybe.
But I would much sooner go from sport to adventure, or dualsport, or sport touring, or motard....or basically anything but a chrome tractor that is a cruiser.

I have both an 05 cbr100rr repsol and an 05 harley davidson road king custom. both have a lot of work done to them. but honestly for long rides I prefer the cbr 1000. i like the side bags and the city commuting on the road king, but for the open road my repsol is the hands down better bike for that :) but thats just my opinion :)
