I don't have any solid evidence for either side of the argument so I'd like to hear some opinions, preferably backed by references or experience but either way I want a discussion.
Long story short: I'm looking to upgrade and am looking at the used liter bike market. Now I understand that liter bikes are completely stupid and not practical for road uses (as has been bashed into my head by my gf) but I don't care! What does worry me, however, is that some riders keep their RPM in low all the time on liter bikes. Would this cause damage in the long run? I was just doing some fun morning read about Fireblade turbo mods and someone mentioned this.
p.s. I have no intention of adding a turbo!
