Some questions about fitting race bodywork

I think that's what I'll do. Then if I crash and break the oem stay, I'll buy a proper one.

That yosh one is a steal at that price mate. If it fit my bike id have jumped on it. He had 3 and only has 1 left. The vortex ones (which id guarantee arent as high quality) go for $160.

Oh look at that, there were 3 available / 2 sold before I saw your post, now there are 2 available / 3 sold! I wonder why :D I had it figured out with a friend here on gtam who has the same bike and was gonna show me how he mounted his, but what the hell, let me trash this and keep my stock for someday if bike is gonna go on the street again.

Hi, so my garage has been a bit warmer lately, so I started fitting the bodywork. I've got a question for the front fender though. See the picture below, the lip is short and won't reach the hole, so I'm wondering if it is even necessary to bother connecting A to B (as marked on the picture). If I wanted to connect them, how would you go about it---some kind of a bracket maybe, on one end goes the bolt, the other end is riveted to the fiberglass or how?

Thanks.

If the fenders solidly mounted I wouldn't worry buy if it'll make you sleep better make a bracket.

^^ I agree, its not really needed.

As log as it doesn't rub against the tire while you ride.... all that motion could add some bounce to the plastics.

Ever see those 1000fps MotoGP videos? Take a look at how much the bodywork flexes and bounces. They are going 100X faster than you are but still happens to some degree

Took bike to James @ Squidskinz last night, he did a great job fitting my bodywork, I'm very satisfied! Got to learn a thing or two too, an evening well spent.
