Some ballbag reported me to the town for parking my trailer

at the front of my house. Haven't people got better things to do? I strongly suspect it's my neighbour as I asked them to stop their little rat on a lead from yapping everytime I went into my back garden. A bit of tit for tat, except they didn't have the balls to talk to me direct. Anyhoo, I just spoke to the town and they have confirmed that I can park it down the side of my property as long as it's behind the line of the front wall of my house. So my neighbours are gonna have it parked outside their dining room window now instead of behind a tree which partially shileded it from view.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

Perfect, put on a thong, crack open a beer and wax it beside the window during breakfast.
Don't forget to wave good morning!

You know..this is a bit of a pet peeve of mine..there's a guy up the road from me who currently has a bobcat, cherry picker and scissor lift parked on his front lawn. If you don't want to get a visit from the bylaw cops, don't park **** on your front lawn!! How hard is that?? It's always nice to drag your neighbourhood down by making it look like a wrecking yard..neighbours love that..

Put some big flood light security lights on it with a motion sensor.
Point it all on their side, when they or their dog goes out side tada...prison lights style...lol

I love how people like rules..until they're applied to them..then they cry like little girls about how they're going to be all bad-***..awesome..

If you don't want all your neighbours to hate you, go over and tell them you are a fussy pussyface, and would prefer if they could park it out of sight, instead of bringing on the heat right away. How hard is that?? It's always nice to drag your neighbourhood down by being anti-social, rude and difficult to deal with..neighbours love that..

I think there's a bit of a difference between my situatuion and the one you describe. My trailer is parked in line with my two vehicles so doesn't really stick out like a sore thumb. Not that I'm above the law, I'm not claiming that either. I'd already sourced a cheap place to store it away from my home. I just find a rich irony in the fact that what I am allowed to do with my trailer will make it more of an eyesore to the neighbours than what i'm not allowed to do. And that's what I'm about here.

Well it's Newmarket bro, the place that banned outdoor cats. I think Aurora was even more stricter regarding what you can or can't do to your own property.

How's the rodent/chipmunk population up there?? Place must be crawling....

Fill your gas lawnmower up with fuel, start it next to the fence and go to work

After a few weeks he might get the hint you dont like him

Funnily enough I found a chipmunk spinning around in my pool skimmer the other week.

I hear ya. It just irritates me when people turn their house into a junk yard and people who own homes around them and actually care about their property value have no recourse to deal with it. You obviously had a very minor thing and your neighbour sounds like a ******. But some folks.. So I hope I didn't sound too bitter! :-)

Funny, I had the by-law officer stop by yesterday to have a look at my trailer. It's parked in my driveway, newer trailer not stickered commercial or anything. Anyway had a chat with him and it seems that someone who doesn't even live on my street lodged a large number of complaints that they have to investigate. He told me not to stress it, his findings would go to the zoning office who make the decisions.

I downloaded a copy of the Brampton by-laws and from what I read as long as it's under 5m in length I'm good. I might sticker it up now with 'suck it' and attach a laminated copy of the by-law.

Man I'm glad I live in the country.

Hey, I've got some 2 stroke model airplane engines (sans mufflers) I need to break in, how 'bout I treat your neighbours to some glow fuel and castor smoke with 100db+ high pitched fun? ;)
