I had a reducer shear off in a socket.. completely my fault.. I couldn't find my full size socket so I put the reducer on a long cheater bar to take a rusted lug nut off.. they didn't give me any hassle.. no receipt required or anything.. if it says mastercraft on it, they know its theirs.. they told me to go pick out a replacement from the shelf and then just swapped it for me.

Buy it if you need a set, otherwise as someone else has already said CT always has socket sets on sale so there's really no need to jump on this deal. I've had my set for 10+ years, quality tools for the diy'er and lifetime warranty to boot.
