Thanks for the reminder. The bike's in the shade for the morning so it was fine when I checked, but I've added a puck (with the assistance of local litterers) for the sunny afternoon. Not looking forward to sitting on the seat through!

For those that did ride, either put a puck under your kick stand or check on it every hour. I was only gone 2 hours to watch the England match yesterday and came out to see this.

I couldn't ride today. I have a mild eye problem at the moment, so I can't wear my contacts for a few days, and I don't own a tinted visor.

Picking one up tonight.... although I did ride yesterday and it was brutal! Drank plenty of water, and only wore a beater under the leather jacket (work clothes folded in my backpack)

ah.. nice reminder.. luckily I added a sidestand enlarger to my bike last year. Saves having to carry a puck all the time and handy when stopping on a dirt shoulder before you have time to get a puck out from under the seat or tail bag..

For me personally, squids are not riders that choose not to wear gear, they're the reckless riders, gear or not.

I saw this guy on a sport bike last night, wearing a wife blesser and the infamous icon vest. Wasn't speeding, casually riding along in his lane.. that's what I like to see.

I rode this morning in full gear (onsie aerostich, boots, gloves, full face) - underneath my suit was a pair of shorts and polypro shirt with my office attire in my pannier.

Quick sink shower when I got to work with cold water, fresh pit stick and I was good to go.

Will ride home in the same gear... and have a quick shower when I get home.

To each their own - I have a promise to myself that I'll make it home every day to see my 7 month old daughter - but I love bikes. I'll sweat a bit if I can keep my own butt safer...
