The thing that sucks is normally people who don't or can't get bail are supposed to be given first priority for your court date/case, so you don't rot in jail for ever (and rack up 2x time, which I understand they've done away with). Problem is, with reverse onus, no priority is given!!! And because of the number of charges, pile of evidence, etc. they wanted a HUGE block of time for my trial (I think they asked for an entire two week block! wtf? lol), hence my super far away court date :( Was a sad sad day when they said that.

ToysR4Boyz What's the barrel length on that shotgun in the RCMP press release (at bottom)? What was the mag-tube capacity on that? Very interesting.

I remember you from CGN - you had lots of cool guns......so what. You definitely weren't a commercial gun dealer or gun trafficker. It's unfortunate that gun control bureaucrats need to play so dirty, redefining, obscuring and manipulating laws to ensnare & punish otherwise decent folks like you who never were or ever would be a problem in society. All in the name of social re-engineering - to create a culture with a indiscriminate and visceral hate and fear of guns and gun owners. What a ****** ordeal to have to go through. Hang in there! :cheers:
 
Jamie that was a good read and I would love to hear some jail stories. They bent you over and stuck it in without even spitting on it first. They played the same games with my buddy over a 1/4 oz they found when they searched his house. In the end all charges were dropped because the arresting officer was dirty add hell.

Shotgun is a remington 870 in 3.5" Super Mag. I had it in dual configs, 12" super shorty barrel tactical style, and with the long "sniper" barrel and mag capacity upgrade (26" barrel and 13 rounds total capacity).

12" barrel, stock capacity mag (5 rounds?), 6 round side saddle, Brobee AR15 adapter with AR15 "meat grinder" adjustable stock, red dot:

Yeah, thanks. I just liked pushing all the "grey" areas too much for my own good ;) When the PWEU said they wanted me to turn in my grenade launcher, I told them "come get it". After the search warrant on my house, the PWEU officer called and left a message on my home phone and said "we got your grenade launcher, haha" :( lol.
