I mean of course there must nothing else important to attend to.
traffic cops, they do nothing but traffic. lol

If there's a "R" on the ticket, then you can be certain that the original speed is on record. That's also the "out of court settlement", so the charge can be amended back up to the original speed.
That was exactly my reasoning...
He was pretty nice about it, told me had he caught me doing 139 on the bike he wouldn't have reduced it because "most bikers have run" when he's tried to pull them over![]()
I asked him what he thought I should do and that I was worried about my rates and he told me that before he was OPP he had 4 speeding tickets and his insurance company didn't care.
Since the court date would be in London and there may be a possibility that it may come up before my renewal date in March why even book one... he also told me it wouldn't be him who shows up but the officer that was radaring so I wouldn't even know what he looks like to check if he showed or not.
I had already been driving for 6 hours and still had 2 ahead of me so I'm just glad he made it quick and pleasant...
Downtown - Made left on Younge where its not allowed - on the cage though
Cops are concerned with the combination of 4x4s and alcohol up in that area. Long weekends and 4-wheeling go together like Friday the 13th and Port Dover (well, not that extreme). Every time the Jeep goes up there, I make sure I'm not carrying any alcohol.didnt get busted but I saw a **** load of OPP unmarked up by bobcaygeon and 507. it was really over the top.

York Regional police say a motorcyclist clocked at 129 km/h in a 60 km/h zone was just one extreme example of 439 speeding offences issued over the Victoria Day long weekend.
In that case a 26-year-old Toronto man was charged with excessive speed and using a plate not authorized for the vehicle.
I think it's a safe assumption the rider was going 129 in an 80, came up to a 60zone, didn't slow down in time and now he's paying for it.
Got nabbed on hwy 7 just east of Kaladar. Rare moment when no other vehicles in front or behind and speed just crept up on me and my SV1000. After writing me up the cop starts telling me about his V-Max. So I'm thinking to myself "jeezuz, as if that beast never has speed creep up without realizing it!"
That radar trap is so constant I'm surprised the OPP doesn't have a cottage built there with a cedar reinforced rustic radar trap mount on the woodstove chimney.
