So 600rr is the only 600cc SS with ABS?

Seems like yami, kawi, suki SS bikes don't have ABS. Those SS have powerful brakes. can't believ nthey don't offer ABS option. Lets face it, the majority of SS riders out there cant out brake Abs. But seems like the 600rr are always priced much higher then the competition, even used. A 2011 600rr is 15k before taxes! All it takes is a dumbass cager for a rider to lock the front and crash.

Professional test riders CAN outbrake the ABS model with a non-ABS one....but it often takes a few tries. When a deer runs out in front of you, or you find sand midcorner etc, you don't get a few tries. You get one. ABS is about $1000. One little fall, even if the rider is totally unhurt, will cost more than the $1000 the ABS costs. EVery save after that the ABS gives you, is basically a $1000 gift.

Yes, so far, the CBR600 is the only 600cc sportbike with ABS. Expect others to soon follow suit.

Amongst other things, this video sold me on ABS.

wow check out this vid braking on sand i would buy a 600rr abs but 09 & 10 models seems to have this ECU issue so abs motors are still on when u shut the bike off. 2011 should have it fixed but its 15k new, i could buy a ducati monster 1100 evo for less than that lol
