Small SUVs who has them and opinions

I had a 2000 accord to 500k then sold it. 2 ef civics to 500k but did replace transmissions clutches towing a loaded 4x8 trailer all the time. Lots of people bitching on cvt transmission and bad mpg in the states. The auto cvt and cheaper gas seem to be a bad combo.

I will be looking at the KIA Seltos today. $32k out the door for EX model. Need to see how big it is inside. Class 3 hitch from dealer.
We were looking at a Serento and just happened to check out the specs on a seltos, Kia Canada website doesn’t recommend towing with the Kia seltos. A4E514E3-B4F4-4CA6-BD5E-607A5D300423.png

Damn. We did an age survey on GTAM, it looks like if we did a weight survey it would also be heavily slanted towards the top of the scale (@ifiddles will pull it down a bit but she doesn't stand a chance in the face of all of the old 250+lb GTAMers).
Use dry weights. That might help the averages.

If the Kona is too small (which is roughly the same as the Crosstrek they liked) then try a Tucson...I haven't tried one of them, but we did have a Santa Fe and really enjoyed driving it (did great on a trip to and back from San Diego hauling a 6x10 cargo trailer - fully loaded there and empty back)...as you can see, I like the Hyundai brand...haven't had any issues with the two we've owned and great warranty (5 years vs 3 from most of the other car manufacturers)...

Quick and final update. 2010 Honda CR-V awd. Picked it up tonight traded in her civic. My Rangers on Facebook and Kijiji

on mom. Out of care home and into an apartment. Scary but she instead and has the right. Doing well although we had to buy a new fridge. Top freezer and eye sight causes cuts on head. French doors bottom freezer much safer.

Congrats on the new car! And glad to hear your mom's doing better and back home.
