Yeah I low sided on green moss and came down hard on the point of my shoulder and damaged my rotator cuff permanently ... I could ride but had to lift right hand on to the bars and it was a painful 100k getting home.I hurt my right shoulder in an off-road incident.
I could move my fingers enough to throttle and brake, but couldn't lift my arm more than a foot away from the side of my body.
After I got on the bike, I had to use my left hand to lift my right hand onto the handlebar then I could ride. Shoulder actually stopped hurting in that position, so that was good.
Had to ride like that for two days to get back to a place where I could recover properly.
Lesson was to avoid green moss and do my damn jacket up ...if I had landed on the padding still would have hurt but no where as bad as I've lowsided in dirt too many times to count.
Was a couple of years to reach the top shelves in the kitchen and steroid injections only helped for a few weeks then wore off.
GWS rider.
