SICKENING - Casey Anthony FOUND INNOCENT!!!!!!

btw is this casey anthony chick rich? how much does it cost in lawyer fees to defend her. certainly cant be cheap.

Indigent client, the states pays for the lawyer. Even if Anthony had to pay for his services herself, it's not like she would be paying OJ legal Dream Team rates.

Apparently her lawyer Jose Baez was considered less than a top caliber lawyer, and also a less than experienced one having been called to the Florida bar only in 2005. Read up on him at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Baez_(lawyer)

Nancy Grace should not even be on TV. That woman has such a hate on for men it is unreal. I watched some of Piers Morgan last night and he had some guests on that had some interesting opinions. One opinion was that she was overcharged, and that pretty much decided her fate before the trial even started. And apparently the defense attorney won this case even though he was doing all he could to screw it up.
As with the OJ trial, they played the game, and they won. I have no problem with that. Too bad Truscott could not have been so lucky.

The judge's instructions to the jury pretty much sealed the verdict. The instructions are here -> http://www2.tbo.com/news/2011/jul/05/judges-instructions-casey-anthony-jury-ar-241863/

The cause of death could not be established. As a result there was not enough evidence to prove there even was an unlawful death, never mind a murder committed by Anthony.
That is the reason they should have laid as many charges possible, so if the main charges don't stick, they still have a chance with the others. The prosecution thought the sympathy of a baby being killed would win them the case, that is where they went totally wrong.

That would be setting a very bad precedent for the justice system. What if they start laying a whole bunch of charges every time someone is brought to court, innocent or guilty?

They do this already.

The prosecution did an excellent job of proving her guilty of being a liar and a slut. A murderer? Not so much.

They do this already.

They also did it with Anthony. They charged her with three major felonies plus four misdemeanour charges of lying to police. The misdemeanours were included in the charges so the cops could use her lying to them as showing some sort of proof of guilty mind that might also extend to actually having killed her daughter. Throw as much mud as possible, make her out to be a calculating liar, and maybe the jury might be persuaded to overlook the lack of firm evidence of intentional or even accidental homicide by Anthony.

Throwing in additional charges, such as committing an indignity to a body, would just add unnecessary distraction to the more serious charges. It would add complication to the trial and more opportunity for the defence to paint their client as a convenient scapegoat. Besides, just as there was no firm proof as to who actually killed the daughter or even if the daughter was intentionally or accidentally killed, there was also no firm proof as to who disposed of the body.

In any case the trial is over. Anthony's time in jail is also just about over. No felony convictions, and 1 year sentence on each of the misdemeanour charges to be served consecutively for a total of 4 years for the lying to cops. However, with credit for time served while awaiting trial and while at trial, she will be out next Wednesday.

In the meantime, CNN's Nancy Grace and Jane Velez Mitchell are now busy whipping up passions and inflaming the lynch mobs in preparation for Anthony's Wednesday release. Anthony won't be safe out on the streets for quite a while to come.

I just hope she doesn't make a cent off this........ If anything comes out, hopefully people will boycott buying anything she puts her name on to profit from, just my opinion.

This case was lost by the prosecutors. They didn't do a good job of it period. The media and hype tell us sheeple the outcome of a case and we run with it before it even has started. Alot of people think the defense are villains for winning, they presented a better case in the jury's eyes than the other side. This case is the exception and not the rule. Thousands of cases like this one are tried everyday in states with the prosecution coming out on top by working hard or a plea deal. Harping on this one case is unfair to the other young victims who don't have a voice or media hype. Where is all the outrage tomorrow when the media and fanfare dies down

The movie will be out in no time, she'll get decent royalties.
